More stamps for sale...

The only fun I've had since the last time I had fun...lol

Hi ya'll...no card to show YET but I'm working on it. I've been having a hard time thinking stamp time...it's horrible this feeling! I have all my supplies around me but still can't shake this block! I told LV though that we're gonna stamp today! I'm 98% done with everything I've been working on and so I'll start having more free time. Then they go back to school and my little one goes too...so soon I'll have ME time...only for ME!!!

Ok...so enough of THAT...I have some exciting news! Remember how I'm almost always talking about how LV has an obsession with the Jonas Brothers? Well...she had the honor of meeting them!!! Yes...she won a meet and greet through the fan club. She was super stoked let me tell you. When she read the email she was screaming and had an "OMG I'm gonna vomit" moment...lol. My mom back in Feb.-Mar. had gave her $$$ to buy what she wanted and she ended up getting tickets for both her and I. So she entered to win the M&G and she never gave up hope that she would meet them. She wouldn't say "Oh I'm never gonna win" or anything like that...she was always positive and BAM...she wins!!! :) She's been a fan since mid '07...like a fan fan...lol...so this is HUGE to her! Anyways...here's her meet and greet picture.

It's funny that my sister in law thought they were those cardboard cutouts they have in Hollywood until she noticed Joe's (remember my DD's FAVE boy...well...not fave but the one she's "attracted" to...she loves them all equally)...around her shoulder. :D Check out where LV's arm is...lol! Anyways...it was a great day of her and me getting out and bonding more. The concert was pretty cool...I felt like I was back in my New Kids on the Block days...lots of screaming girls. This concert was more intense because we had closer seats...where all the crazy girls are. I could NOT hear on the drive back home...those girls have LUNGS!!!

In the meanwhile until I post new stamps I'm gonna sell or a new card which trust me...I'm GONNA get down tonight! I have to...even if it looks crappy...lol! Here are some pictures LV took at our concert.

LV's Digi...

Hi ya'll...just found a break from my day to post. When LV is on the computer and open up IE...she sees my moms picture and well...it makes her sad...so I'll push it down since she's been the one on the computer in my absence.

So I wanted to show you what I made with LV's digi...remember it? The one I made using LV's picture? Anywho...here it is if you don't remember it.

I made this card a couple of days before my mom fell ill and had to go to the hospital. I used some of her favorite colors...one being lime green. It's funny how realistic it looks.

Ok...I'm gonna be handing over the computer to LV in a while...I have some unfinished stuff I need to get to today before I get lazy and just sleep. I've really missed you all...but I know in the very near future you will have your crazy Gabby back. :)

I'll add the "ingredients" soon!

Hello friends...just checking in

Hi friends...I think it's about time I check in. I've been super busy I guess keeping myself distracted and what not getting rid of lots of stuff my mom left me. It's been hard going into her room to pack things up but I've been pretty strong in not crying. Of course once I'm in there the memories come back and then I start having flashbacks from her last days and minutes of life and so that's when I leave the room and take a breather...so needless to say it's been a long transition. Still I've been much stronger than I thought I would be. This picture is the last picture I took of my momma 2 days before she had to be rushed to the hospital. I had just got done feeding her and cleaning her up. My cat loved her so much he decided to jump up and give her a "massage" on her legs. Now he goes and sleeps outside the door where my mom use to sleep.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your words and cards I've received and still receiving. I want to send a special thanks to Yoo-Rah for the beautiful flowers...thank you so much Yoo-Rah...I love you chica! To my Ho's for the lovely plant and crystal cross that I now have on an altar I made for my mom where I sit at night and pray...love you guys! Kelli Jo...wow woman...I've been receiving cards from friends of yours I don't know and I thank you for letting them know...I have me some new friends thanks to you :) and last but most def. not least...Jessica (from There She Goes). Thank you so much for the beautiful stamp set...you've made it easier for me to spend some distraction time to send thank you cards...you will be receiving one of course. :) Thank you for all that have been there with your kinds words...they've been helping me get through and most of all your prayers...they have really helped us ALL out as we leave the heartache behind and just focus on memories and the fact that she's now resting in peace and no longer suffering.

I created a memorial for her if you want to stop by. It's a work in progress and I'll be adding more pictures soon. As of now I only have one of her 71st birthday and 2 from the wake and 1 of the funeral procession entering the cemetery. If you don't like to see pictures of someone laying there "sleeping"...do not go...I have a picture of her like that.

I'll be back to blogging and making cards very soon...I just wanted to update and check in to let you all know that I'm here and much more at ease. HUGS!
