Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge!

First off...I want to apologize to those who played along with Tuesday Morning Sketches last week and I didn't get around to comment. As you know things just haven't been going smooth lately for us here...BUT I'm not making anymore excuses. I should try to use the computer as much as possible because come March...I don't know if we'll still have a connection. It'll only be temporary...for maybe a couple of months or so if we should lose connection... Now with that aside...here is your sketch for today's TMS challenge!

Here is my card for the sketch! This weeks sponsor is DRS Designs. We were graciously given 2 images to work with...THANK YOU very much! :) These stamps I got are beyond cute! They just make me smile. The little boy "Sweet Offerings" from the Cutie Pie Kids line makes me see my DS Ozzy...lol. Those cheeks and tousled hair...lol.

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge!

Hello! Here we are again on another Tuesday for Tuesday Morning Sketches! I wont keep you long as today is the BIG DAY...I turn 33! LOL! Yes...as you may already know (I mean DANG I mentioned it ever chance I got...lol)...it's my birthday today and I plan on bumming it with the kids. I need a stress free day and I intend on having it even if it kills me. Hubby had his birthday on Sunday and the poor guy had to spend it with relatives because his great-aunt passed away while we were there visiting her and the family who was just waiting for when the day would be. We were about to leave and head off to my MIL's when we heard crying and everyone running in to the house (they had her at home because the doctors couldn't do anything for her anymore). So yeah...we spent his birthday there and ended up getting home LATE! We plan on making it up for him this upcoming Sunday...Super Bowl Sunday!

BUT as I said...I wont keep ya much! Here is my card for today's sketch. I was seriously at a loss as to what stamp to use with this sketch (plus the sponsor this week...KL Stampin N Scrappin) and finally came up with this. The only thing I DO love about this card is my very first try at making this pleated ribbon. :D I'll try making a tutorial soon on how I did it. Monday Mania and CHA Relay!

Hey guys and Happy Monday? I don't know...I asked because I'm SO NOT a Monday person. I dislike Mondays with a passion...lol! Give me Saturday and I'm one happy girl! :P Anywho...I do like the fact that Club Anya has Manic Monday...why...because it's a challenge day silly! What better way to start off the week than a Club Anya challenge! I haven't really been able to participate in all of them since Club Anya & Friends kicked off...but I do hope this whips me into shape to play when possible. I've missed some really good ones too!

Well...today is MY turn to challenge YOU! WHAT? I was contacted by Jessica if I wanted to do a Monday...so DUH...of course I do! I'm a HUGE BIG fan of ALL things The Greeting Farm...but Anya is what first reeled me in to this company! :D So Club Anya & Friends for me is the place to be!

For my challenge...you're to make a card or project with the color challenge/inspiration I've provided AND to use pearls! Pretty simple right? Plus the color combo is delicious...and not to mention the inspiration picture USED to bring out the color combo! So here is my sample to give some inspiration! Can't wait to see what's created! OMG when I saw him I got all excited and got to work IMMEDIATELY on him! Mermaid Anya has a boyfriend now...lol...and right before Valentines too! Don't want her to be in the sea all lonely now do we? :P

P.S. I want to thank everyone who has left comments and sent me emails for the get well wishes. I'm happy that you, that also have or had anxiety and panic attacks, CAN relate and understand. I don't feel alone! MOSTLY, I don't feel insane that it's just me...lol. ;) It's hard living with my hubby and kids NOT understanding what it's like. They have NO idea how scary and horrible they can be. The worst thing about my hubby is his common phrase..."RELAX"! Yeah...if I could relax wouldn't I be able to NOT have them?! UGH! That's NOT what I want to hear when I'm shaking and hyperventilating and cramping up...SO NOT fun! SOOOOO...a big shaky hug to you all!

Ok...I tried to rhyme! :P Soooo...thanks to my good friend Scrappy of It's A Scrappy World, I fell in love with these new digi's by Jodie at Bugaboo Stamps! I don't just love one or two...I love ALL of them! You have to go check them out! I'm sure you'll love too! I'm very hard to like a certain stamp design...so it's no surprise I just simply fell over going through the whole store!

Bugaboo has this adorable love monkey as a freebie...I HAD to snag it! As soon as I have some change to play with...I'm gonna HAVE to grab the Skelekinz. Ok...I wont do too much chatter...I'll get to the point of this post! This card was made for 3 challenges.

A Couple Challenges... Happy Sunday!

Just wanted to leave a Sunday post as I will be gone on Monday and Tuesday and wont be posting until Wednesday again...maybe...I'm still unsure of that...but just want to give a heads up in case you're wondering where I went...lol. This awesome stamp is from Paper Makeup Stamps and is called Moody for Music. Katie sent it to me as a welcome package amongst other awesome stamps you'll be seeing soon and she said this one reminded her of LV...that is SOOO true! Not only is LV moody...lol...but she LOVES music! She's even my little band geek! :D

Alright...I am off...need to go to sleep as in the morning I will be off to drop off a poinsettia plant for my momma at the cemetery and sit there for a while and then we're on our way to my MIL's.

Another quick post for today! I want to make sure I share what I've made in my spare time so I can keep you interested...lol! I don't think I can handle a blog divorce from you all! LOL! So to keep it interesting...I have made a card featuring a SEXY Bombshell from Bombshell Stamps! *wink* This girl is too cool for her own good. Oscar called her "Ice Queen"...but that's my title when he's a jerk with me! *wink*

She was made for 2 challenges...1 is for The Pink Elephant to create a project featuring Christmas or Winter...so I went with Winter...I'm SOOOO done with Christmas cards! The other challenge was for December's sketch challenge by Kathi for Bombshell Stamps. The only thing I omitted was the sentiment and instead added the flourish. So there you go...my double post for today! If you decide to play along with Bombshell Stamps sketch challenge...make sure to stop by our PCP group and share! LV is a Junior DT for...

...Tuesday Morning Sketches!!! How exciting is that? She is Melissa's very first junior DT...well...besides her adorable DD Hollyanne! She is joining Hollyanne in something new Melissa has decided to try out. She'll just be doing this challenge DT'ing once a month...but she's exited!

Her first challenge was to make a card with a recipe instead of a sketch and the recipe was "Glitter, Tag, & a Secret Surprise"! She whipped this one up Sunday night when we got home from my MIL's. Happy Halloween Part Deux

Since LV was still sleeping and Ozzy was watching TV and all chores were basically DONE...I sat down with Lizzie to make this card for Club Anya's Mystery Monday Spooktacular challenge! The challenge was to make a spooktacular card using Anya or Ian...and I used both! I was gonna ink up my spooktacular set...but Lizzie came up with the idea of the angel and devil since that's her costume...half angel/half devil. All I did was color the images and make the airbrushed scene. She wanted THAT paper, THAT embellishments, and THAT layout. So this card is a collaboration...lol. I don't know if it would qualify for The Greeting Farm's "This Tot's Got____" challenge/contest. The ______ being "bling"! She wanted bling on Miss Anya's wings, halo, shoes, and some "jewelry" bling using hologram type stickers. She also wanted some bling on My Guy Ian's horns.

Here is Lizzie yesterday at school during the parade. Let me tell you that this costume is VERY her! She's not 50/50 though...this little girl is 60/40...you guess which one she's more! LOL!!! You can't tell in this picture...but she has some bling of her own! I did half her hair in curls with white glitter and the other half was teased with red glitter! Today I'm gonna put makeup on her though...my SIL ALWAYS trips out at the kids costumes and always chooses to use the ideas next Halloween...lol.

Ok so now I'm off! Ozzy wants me to watch Stay Alive with him...see ya!

Lily in the Copic Colour Challenge #37

Happy Thursday guys! Today is my ME day again and this time I DO plan on using it for me. I've done 98% of my needed to do chores and I'm ready for company. Turns out now though that my sis wont be here until Sunday night! UGH! Still I did what I had to do in case we get unexpected visitors.

Ok...so I found this blog with Copic colour challenges through Vicky Garett...a cool a$$ chica who's work I adore...especially when she works with the odd kids from Stampotique. This weeks color challenge was to use R20, YG06, & E33. I don't have YG06 so I substituted it with G94. I'm not sure of YG06 TRUE color...so I just guessed to what I thought was the closest. So here is my card for the challenge! I used Lily in Wintercoat digi image from Pink Cat Studio. You can find the E33 in the coat, scarf, hat, & boots...G94 in the coat, scarf, and hat...and the R20 in the birds and Lily's cheeks.

There She Goes on Tuesday Morning!

HUH? LOL...yes I woke up happy as ever that it's Thursday and I get to have a ME day where I can stamp all day if I like. BUT knowing me...I'll end up cleaning something! LOL! Maybe I should re-do my tiny craft room!? We'll see what ends up happening! Maybe I'll work on some cards for a little something I plan on announcing on Friday the 30th! I'm pretty stoked for this!

Anywho...I managed to combine challenges again. I like it when a challenge blog is OK with one combining challenges...I think it makes a card funner to work on. I don't like feeling "commited" to just one thing...lol...except marriage of course! Ok...so I combined challenge #1 which is for Melissa's Tuesday Morning Sketches. Mel came up with this fun sketch to play with and guess who's sponsoring this week? The awesome sweetheart that is Jessica of There She Goes. I am so glad I got to guest trendset for her a while back. :) SO...Miss Jessica has a challenge of her own set by the awesome Maki! The challenge is to dry emboss! I LOVE playing with my Cuttlebug whether it be using with my embossing folders or with my nesties. I just love my green bug! OH...and this is my very first time working on the INSIDE of a card! :O I always leave them blank but now that I made this one with the inside done...I may be doing it more often. I like how it looks on the inside...lol.

Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop! #7

Hello and welcome to another week in the Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop! This weeks theme is "paper piecing"! Challenge was given to us by our hop captain Miss Angela AKA Inky Button! I love paper piecing but I'm not great at it. Love how you can "dress up" an image. Here's are more deets! BTW...I think I've already screwed this up! I'm not absolutely sure...but I think all month of October we're suppose to use black, orange, green, and (optional) purple...OOPS!

This challenge is perfect for those leftover scraps of DP that you just can't throw away. Now you can put them to good use! Instead of hoarding these precious pieces, stamp your favorite image directly onto the paper and cut it out. Voila! You have the perfect patterned paper to compliment your favorite Bombshell stamp.

I love Angel! She is perfect for piecing! Today I wanted to turn her into "La Arana Viuda"...the "Black Widow"! Don't get caught up in her web or else... Doesn't she look as if she's in prison for murdering her DH and looking through the windows to maybe en*trance one of the prison guards? LOL! I know...*shakes head*

World Card Making Day Hangover

Hey all...are you still recovering from World Card Making Day? I am...lol...I had a massive hangover! LOL! Seriously...I woke up with a nasty headache and my tummy ached and I felt nausea! LOL! I got over it though checking out the leftover on SCS challenges! :P

I made this card here for the Sugar Nellie challenge. A sketch was issued and I went for it. Plus I haven't used my Gorjuss Girls a lot...so I had to join in on the challenge. Read more about the challenge here: Sugar Nellie WCMD09K. Lately I've been using a lot of sketches to work my card...and I love it because sometimes I can't think of great LO's! I need that extra KICK to get me going. Plus the sketch provided was super fun and out of the "norm" for me. I also decided to break out Big Bertha again since I already got it use to me. LV's been teaching me to use more than just the zig-zag and straight sew on just one card. I swear this girl...UGH! LOL! Now I'm hooked on sewing different patterns.

This next item I made was for the Magnolia challenge! We were asked to make either an ornament OR a card with an ornament hanging. I have TONS of round coasters that I haven't used so I decided to go for it and break those out. I think I'll be making my own ornament using my favorite stamp companies for my tree this year. :D Maybe that'll be my theme this year? We'll see how that goes! Ok...I'll let you go now! I'm having a major malfunction in my brain...I think I'm losing mojo! I tried to make another card to post tomorrow but can't shake anything out! I need more challenges! LOL! Hopefully I can shake off this bug and keep my mojo. Maybe I'm thinking that in a few days it's my mom's birthday...she would have been turning 73 on the 12th. God I miss her so... :(

I {Heart} Punches @ Club Anya

Hello and I missed ya the past couple days! It was just not my days! The night before I was having a really hard time...my legs and arms were cramping and I had a HUGE headache I just couldn't bring myself to do ANYTHING! I woke up today a little better and decided to join in the Mystery Monday challenge at Club Anya! Today's mystery challenger was none other than my girl Angie of My Boat! Dude...I have to say I LOVE her challenge! We're to use punches (or dies) in our creation. The challenge was titled I {Heart} Punches! I don't {heart} punches...like the ones when my brother would punch me "just for fun"... *rolls eyes*...but I LOVE anything die cut or punched!

Here is the card that I created. I think I went punch crazy...lol...I think lately I've been going a bit crazy on 'X' embellishments. This card is gonna go to a secret sister on SCS...I wont go too much into it so I wont give it away...but I hope she likes it! I had been dying to ink this Miss Anya for a while now and found the perfect reason to. :D Finally this winter girl came to life! LV picked what color combo to use and I think she made the perfect choice!

Another challenge with Inktegrity!

Well...I decided to work on a card for the Pink Elephant challenge! This is the sketch for the challenge and I had to use Joni's Backgrounds I & High There digi's! I miscalculated the print size and made the image (plane) a little bit larger than I wanted...but in the end it came out OK! LOL! Still I'm happy with it and I hope I interpreted the sketch well enough! If you wanna buy Joni's digi's...check out her shop: Inktegrity!

Ok...I don't have too much blah blah today...lots to do so little time! I'll be later on to announce the winner of my Bombshell card. Not too many people wanted this time...oh well...I thank those that made my day and DID say they wanted! :D

P.S. Like the new background? I made it! I bought a digi scrap kit JUST to change my background. I feel it was a bit too dark. What do you think?
