Stoked!

What a title huh? Well I am! FIRST...I just uploaded the newest digi images by Ozzy Inks to his blog. It's a set of robots and I am AMAZED at his work. I am indeed a proud momma! So far so good for him. I've already deposited money he's made into his small but growing account. LV on the other hand...no such luck with her Teen Scene and she's bummed. Poor girl has had no luck in ANYTHING she's selling. Her Kandy bracelets...NADA...hair ribbons...NADA. I feel so bad for her. Anywho...she's still not giving up though! That's my girl! Anywho...check THAT out HERE!

Second...I am Chic of the Week over at JUGS! WAHOO! :D I was stoked to see my name up as Chic of the Week! Can't wait to get my badge to wear it proudly! Thanks girls!

and last but not least...there was a small but very important turn around in my personal life. Just when I thought things couldn't get well for us they do! A friend of the family started a food bank a couple cities away and I will not only be working there (well...volunteering) mornings starting Monday...but I will ALSO be getting my share of weekly groceries to feed my family. We were in serious dire need of some kind of help to feed our children. I even resorted to selling my stuff both on here and on SCS. Thank God for those who needed my stuff...lol...for 2 weeks I was able to feed my kiddies. At least THAT is now gonna be taken care of and I thank God for listening to my prayers.

OK...now that I shared THAT and I am quite embarrassed to have shared it...but I wanted to share my joy! I'm a very proud person and have recently learned to become more humble. :) It actually feels good to get that out.

'tis the Season quickie CAS card & special note on Henry...

YES...I finally managed to make a TRUE CAS card! LOL! I was actually very proud of myself for restraining from adding more to it! Just some simple stamping, a little coloring, and JUST ribbon! *GASP* I like it...I really do!

So again...not too much blah blah from me today. You know how much I love to blah blah...but I went to bed LATE last night and I'm headed BACK to bed again! Plus Lizzie is feeling a bit sick. She's got the sniffles and mild cough. So it's out to rub some Vapor-Rub on her chest, behind her ears, soles of her feet, and inner elbows (like mom taught me) and turn on the humidifier! Hopefully she doesn't have to miss school today...but if she's still not feeling good by 10...then I'm keeping her home. Ok...so off to nurse my baby girl and nap with her. Have a great day and I hope you're staying nice and warm...or at least in good health!

IN MEMORY TO HENRY~
Ok...something sad and important I do want to share before I go. See my upper right hand corner of my sidebar? The cute image of the giraffe and the monkey! Well please make sure to click on it and read a bit about this sad loss of a 3 year old boy named Henry. As a mother I can't even come close to knowing what Sarah ( a fellow blogger and fellow SCS'er), his mother, must be going through right now. I can't image the size of the pain going through her and her family right now. I know with the loss of my mom it was terribly hard and just the most pain I've ever felt...but to lose ones child...and one at such a young age...it's even hard to imagine. So if in any small way you can help...it's by going to the Pink Cat Studio digi site (picture of image will lead you there) and purchasing that digi stamp in name of Henry. Oscar gave me the go-4 to buy it and at least help in that small but from the heart way. Now go hug your loved ones really tight because tomorrow isn't guaranteed! Live every day filled with love and happiness and near your loved ones... HUGS to you all from me!!!

LOL...no don't show us your JUGS...show us your MUGS instead! What is this crazy woman talking about right? Well...not what you think...well...kinda! This weeks challenge at JUGS is the "Wild Card" challenge and this wild card challenge was to create a card that could feature a picture. I didn't want to use an actual picture of mine...so instead I went looking for a nice image of trees covered in snow and I found this image! All I did was print it out and break out the Labels 4 nesties and made a "frame". I have to say...who ever actually gets snow in their area...I am jealous! I haven't seen snow...like real snow...since I was a wee kid in the San Bernardino mountains! :( Sad I know!

Anywho...this is my card for this weeks JUGS challenge! :)
