Early Thursday post...

Hey! I'm doing an early Thursday post because I am once again diggin' in my craft stuff to see what else I can sell or just dig up to use. I need to justify my purchases because I won't be buying ANYTHING (well...there as SOME exceptions) any time soon and so I need to use what I have because I'm starting to save for more Copics. I now feel limited to the colors I have and I need to expand now that my coloring is getting somewhat better don't you think? LOL! Anywho...here's my card for Thursday!

This card I made is for the Sugar Bowl challenge...and it is called to use the provided sketch using a Funky Kits image purchased there AND a thankful sentiment. I'm starting to like working with more intricate designed stamps...more work...but I like it. I get to see the difference between open space and less space. Of course I'll always remain a more open space girl...but there is room for growth! This is the sketch we need to follow and Daisy is Thankful for being created...lol. I already know the person I'm sending this to too!

Ok...well this is it for today! Wish me luck in the hunt for stuff to purge and stuff to use! I hope I don't get lost under the DP I have for years now! YIKES! Amy...I may be sending you some...LOL! I know your DP addiction! :P

BTW...I added more stuff to my SALE list. More SU sets and more Hanna's and MFT's and others! Check 'em out because I'm throwing this stuff on eBay on Monday. So hurry on up if you see something you like!

Sugar makes my kids go WILD!

If you're here for the Bombshell blog hop...scroll down. Thanks!

Ok...so here is my entry for The Greeting Farm's WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE contest week guest designer search. The guest designer will get to work with Marina's oh so cute little animals. You can read more about that here!

The story behind my wild card is this...plain and simple...my kids become little wild animals when they get their hands on CANDY! I'm missing a child in there...lol...but that child isn't as candy wild as Ozzy & Lizzie.

I remembered I had this sheet of DP from when I first started stamping some years ago and couldn't do it any justice...but now that I saw this cute digi...I knew I had to dig it up to play with. Same goes for the ribbon. I bought that ribbon a couple years ago on eBay and when I got it wondered what the heck I was gonna do with it. I guess you can say I also went a little wild using stuff from ages ago. LOL!

Well...thanks for looking and thank you for stopping by! Good luck to those who've entered! I've seen some cute entries in the galleria!

Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop! All My Single Layers...you know you wanna sing it! ;)

What is up people? Welcome to another week of Bombshell hoppin'! This week's challenge was a hard one for me as you may all know me as layer lady...embellishment expert (NOT)...add-on Annie...etc...LMBO! I do have to say that once I finished the card...I was not a happy Gabby! BUT...this single layer grew on me! :D After looking at it sitting here on my desk...with puppy dog eyes...I said how can I not! Doesn't it look like the birds are either adding to the ribbon above...or if they've been naughty...stealing a piece of the ribbon above? LOL! I say they've been nice though. They're actually helping me finish up the ribbon. ;)

Anywho...this is my card! Yes...it is ONE layer!!! *GASP* I used this YouTube video to create the double embossing.

Make sure to hop along with the other Bombshell Hotties! I bet they have some eye candy!

5 challenges in 1!

First...GREETINGS FROM CORONA, CA! :)

Just when I think I can't possibly outdo myself in challenges...last one was 4 in 1...now I added 1 more!!! :O Can you tell I like to more than double dip when it comes to challenges? LOL! I do!

Anywho...I'm here at the in-laws home house sitting without Oscar and I'm bummed. They left to Bakersfield and will be back in the morning. So I brought with me my stuff to craft or else I'll go crazy! My MIL was laughing because she thought my craft cart was my luggage bag and said to me that I was only staying for one day. She cracked up even more when I showed her what was inside! XD I know...nuts huh? Still it's entertaining me while the kids are playing with my BIL's Playstation and XBox. He's 35/36 and no wife or kids...so you know he has toys! LOL! So yeah I'm in the back room on LV's laptop and I completed the challenges for 5 of the ones I'm working on.

The challenges are:
1. Anyone For Anya? To be "patriotic" and use the colors or your country flag. I didn't go with my Ol' US of A...instead I did my native country...Mexico! They're perfect Christmas colors too...lol! I could have easily used Spains colors too...but my heart is closer to Mexico.

2 AND 3. Club Anya's Mystery Monday AND I Wanna Be Just Like {Anita Hovey} For Mystery Monday we're to make a "snow" card. Well...I used Snow from Miss Anya AND added snow to her standing ground. Then I CASED Anita's card LO which is also in conjunction with...

4. JUGS sketch: The sketch resembles Anita's card so much I had to incorporate a bit of each WITHOUT leaving the LO out. What's similar in both? The JUGs sketch has that lower panel that I combined with Anita's lower sentiment and ribbon. The image panel are also very similar. The only difference is that the JUGs sketch is to the side rather than in the middle. I'm sure you can tell the similarities!

last but not least...

5. Copic Challenge: RED HEADS! I thought it was a bit more in depth to use red to make a red head...lol...but found it easy to use E18, E09, & E07 to make a red head! Thank goodness for my Copic chart book!

These were sure fun to play with! Now let's see if I'll out-do the 5 in 1 challenges! LOL!

Skin-E02, 50, & R02
