Nice and crisp air...falling leaves...my dream coming true!

Yes...I am finally seeing SOME of the beautiful effects of Fall. Next to Winter...Fall is my next favorite season. The cool crisp air...the leaves falling from the trees at our local park...I am in heaven. I'm a sweatshirt & boots kinda girl...and I love to feel the cool air in my face...so it's no wonder why I love both "cold" seasons. I don't do well with heat!

Anywho...I had seen Mo's Digital Pencil's art before and thought it was cute...but when I saw Kai...OMG I was in love! That pudgy face...those cheeks and lower 2 teeth (on Kai in the snow)...AAAHHHH...reminds me of my Ozzy when he was little. Not even LV or Lizzie had those cheeks so I was super excited to see an image that resembles my boy. Even though Kai is a little girl...I see Ozzy in her! Just don't tell Ozzy I said that! ;)

DP2's challenge was to make a card using ANY digi from Mo's with Fall in theme and to ONLY use 2 embellishments! Trust me...this was a hard one too...just like The Greeting Farm's "No Frills"...but I managed. Plus I didn't want to overshadow Kai playing with leaves. Check Kai out! Isn't she the cutest?

Thanks for stopping by! {heart} ya!

LV's American Idiot

Hello and Happy Monday! Yeah who am I kidding...I'm not a Monday person! LOL! Still...make it a HAPPY one! :P

I made this card for The Greeting Farm's "No Frills" challenge. Yup...nothing girly like ribbon, lace, trim...etc... Since this was the first card I made for the challenge...the only way I can think out of the box for the No Frills was to make a boy card...lol. It ended up being made for LV. Next to Jonas Brothers...Green Day is her next favorite band. I don't know why...but she has a thing for these dark shaggy hair dirty rockers...lol...I don't know where she gets it from! *whistles while walking away*

For some reason I had saved this sheet of DP from the DCWV Rockstar collection. It was waiting for Billie Joel to be created I guess! ;) Once I inked Edward up...I went in with a Q-Tip to remove the lines inside the shirt and then stamped him and drew in the tie. I also lined his eyes with "eyeliner"...LMBO!

He is also for Copic Creations challenge...#14~Black. Basically EVERYTHING on Billie Joel is black...black hair...black clothing...and even his black guitar!

Hope you like and thanks for dropping in!

4 challenges in 1...

...to get me back into my groove! :O LOL! Yes...I think I'm back crafting wise! It took me 4 challenges to make me say 'I think I can, I think I can'...

Challenge #3 is a technique...paper piecing (the stocking is pieced)!

Sorry I'm a day late Joni!

Well as usual my brain isn't clicking again! I know I had set my "to do list" to post a card made using Joni's contest at Inktegrity. It's OK because I really just want to show off the card I made for Inktegrity using Joni's free digi image for October. Being that it's breast cancer awareness month...Joni has offered up this amazing digi to play with.

Check it out! I'm sorry I don't have too much blah blah...I'm just trying to lube up this rusted brain of mine to get the wheel turning because lately I have NOT been happy with my work. I don't want to stop and break because then I'll lose the mojo...so I'm making what I can churn out. I hope I get that "touch" back soon...

{heart ya}
