A start to a new week!

Happy Monday everyone! First off I want to thank each and everyone of you who have been sending my mom well wishes. She's doing good and has been resting and has been treated like a Queen! She doesn't like it as she'd rather be up and cooking...lol...but she has to deal with it! My sister came from Arizona to check up on her and she tells me she's so thankful for me taking care of her. That made my day and I hope it's a sign of good things to come this week.
Queen
Finally I had some time to chill yesterday and just STAMP! My DH helped me out around the house and even cooked so I can get some me time. Hopefully I can catch up with my sleep now...lol. I slept 4 hours last night...so I'm just hoping to catch up because I NEED my 8 hours! Anywho...here is a card ( a series of 4) I made for a friends swap that calls for using digi stamps. I took 2 spots and for this spot chose to use Jena Baking from Little Paper Shop. I've been playing with LV's Copics to test drive them and have them make friends with my babies...my Prismas! They're getting along famously! I also ran across and old challenge to use faux stitching and so I went with it! I need to start trying new things AND getting back to the old. The old in this card is using smaller dies such as the greenery. I also finally used Lables 4...I have now used all 4...lol! Come on Spellbinders...bring on some more lables! ALSO...something else that's new is a shading technique I read up on SCS by the FABBO CandiceL! Jesus I love her coloring!!! Candice...if you happen to drop by and read this...YOU INSPIRE ME to improve my coloring! Thanks for the shading technique! Whatcha think?

Check in tomorrow for There She Goes Tuesday! I'm sure you'll get a kick out of it!

I'm on a roll...

...after some nice sleep after my caffeine binge...lol...I am on a roll and I managed to make some stamping time for 3 cards! These cards featured today are for Stamps & Smiles first sketch promoting their new line of stamps. Head on over to S&S blog to enter to win some stamps! Check out my entries for the sketch!

First is this card I not only made for the sketch challenge...but I also made it for my soon to be 10 year old DS who LOVES cupcakes especially with sugar crystals...lol. Check out how I freehanded some arms in...LOL! Oh...and one even took their hand off the top cupcake to hold a banner!!! Thanks cuppy cake! LOL! Could you believe I am being good using my scraps? Yup...this DP was in my scraps! I also JUST REALIZED today that I had that blue/aqua textured CS in my CS/DP cart! I bough this CS about 2 years ago on eBay!!! Dang do I know how to hoard...or forget to use the good stuff...lol! Now...would you eat such cute cuppy cakes? YUM! LOL!

Prismacolor Markers used:

Supplies:
CS/DP: WWasabi, , DP vendor unknown (from my scraps), Textured CS from unknown vedor (from hoarded pile), & Bright White
Ink: BBlack, BGray, & Prismas
Stamps: Stamp A Sweet Impression by Taylored Expressions (link on my sidebar)
Embellishments: Diamond Stickles & flatback bling
Others: oval Coluzzle

Next is this OH SO SWEET Miss Anya! She was inspired by LV in her "before she became a rocker chick" stage. I use to dress her in pinks with ribbons in her hair and what not. Man I miss those days. BUT...I still got Lizzie to play "pinky dress up" with. Can you believe my LV is gonna be 13 on Sunday??? Yup...I'll officially have a teen! Let the gray hairs start flowing! No...she's a good girl...just not my girly anymore. Another thing I was hoarding were these cute rub-ons! What was I thinking? I've spent too much money to heard! That DP...yup...also in my scraps pile! *rolls eyes* Anywho...whatcha think? I'm actually proud of myself and patted my back...lol. Check out the cute pearl frame! Ok...this is so sweet I shall say myself that I am getting a tooth ache! Sorry to toot my own horn...I'm just very proud of these cards being that I'm not feeling 100% well.
Tomorrow I'll show ya card #3!!! It's a DOOZY!!! It's LV's 13th birthday card made with stuff she just LOVES...you'll see what I mean! *wink*

Cooking up some CUTE fun!

Ok...I am having too much fun with these cupcakes that I HAD to team them up with Hanna! I know this looks like something Hanna would cook up to BOO her friends at a Halloween party! Can't you see it? LOL! She is even in her Halloween's best! She's my new best friend! LOL! When I got the cupcakes and saw Candice's card at Rubbah Soul...it hit me to make a card using these cupcakes! Kiss The Cook Hanna is too cute! Her face just screams OMG!!! I don't know but I think I over did it! The card is not exactly what I had envisioned but it was the idea! I shoulda coulda woulda...whatever...it's DONE! LOL! It looks busy but then again Halloween is busy! All those decorations of jack-o-lanters and vampires and witches...oh my! Wonder if Hanna added something "extra" to that batter brew to enchant a certain someone! See those swirls coming out that bowl? That looks like a pinch of magic to me! ;)

See the tops of those cupcakes...they're gumdrops! LOL! I added some diamond glaze and sprinkled with micro beads to give it that "sugary" look gumdrops have. I love those chewy things! And how cute is Hanna with her pieced apron? I used a scrap of the Creepy Crawly DP I had stored away. I knew I would need it so I didn't throw it away. Then I ask myself WHY I have so many scraps of DP and CS! *rolls eyes* I save even the smallest pieces of DP. They could be 1'' x 1'' and I still think I could use it! LOL! Oh, and I hand drew the witch hat. She was not complete without it! I even drew on some witchy stockings! Whatcha think?

Witchy Cupcake

Bewitched? I was when I saw this witchy cupcake! These are just too fun to play with! Again...these cupcakes as from Taylored Expressions. I'm a sucker for witches and vampires...so this was just right up my alley! I have tons of this DP still left from last Halloween season...so I'm trying to use it up even though I HATE using my DP...it's just too cute to look at! Anyone else have this obsession? I know I'm not alone on this one...lol. :P I also have this ribbon from last year too...so it's time to use all my old stuff to make room for new stuff. This ribbon was actually a gift from a SS swap from SCS. I thought it went well with this image. Whatcha think?
