Gonna be quiet for a while...

Hello again my blog peeps. Just wanted to let you know I'll probably be quiet for some time. I got a call a while ago from my dad's daughter that he's been living with since my moms death that he's passing away. She was crying too much so I don't know the exact details right now but she's suppose to call me back as to where he is and where I can go see him. He's 87 years old and has had kidney failure last time I spoke to her so I'm assuming they've shut down. Right now I'm numb and on edge not knowing what's going on...but it's for sure my dad is about to pass. So if you don't hear from me soon...you'll know why. Sorry you guys...I can't even think straight right now so if I can pull myself together...I'll update or have LV update for me. In the meantime thank you guys for the birthday wishes...I just got the worst present ever... I'll answer emails I need to get back to soon too...don't think I'm ignoring you...

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge!

Hello! Here we are again on another Tuesday for Tuesday Morning Sketches! I wont keep you long as today is the BIG DAY...I turn 33! LOL! Yes...as you may already know (I mean DANG I mentioned it ever chance I got...lol)...it's my birthday today and I plan on bumming it with the kids. I need a stress free day and I intend on having it even if it kills me. Hubby had his birthday on Sunday and the poor guy had to spend it with relatives because his great-aunt passed away while we were there visiting her and the family who was just waiting for when the day would be. We were about to leave and head off to my MIL's when we heard crying and everyone running in to the house (they had her at home because the doctors couldn't do anything for her anymore). So yeah...we spent his birthday there and ended up getting home LATE! We plan on making it up for him this upcoming Sunday...Super Bowl Sunday!

BUT as I said...I wont keep ya much! Here is my card for today's sketch. I was seriously at a loss as to what stamp to use with this sketch (plus the sponsor this week...KL Stampin N Scrappin) and finally came up with this. The only thing I DO love about this card is my very first try at making this pleated ribbon. :D I'll try making a tutorial soon on how I did it. Until then...have a great Tuesday and hope to see you play along.

Oh...and I may be quiet the next coming days. I'll be seeing you on Friday for PMS's Makeup For The Weekend in which I AM participating this week! I need to seriously snap out of this and just keep on praying for the best. BIG HUGS AND KISSES ALL AROUND!

REMINDER

For some reason I feel happy today! No...not any great news yet...but for some reason I woke up feeling refreshed and touched. Must be all your prayers. Renewing my faith has led me to keep my head up and not ball up in a corner and cry like I would probably be right now. Thanks to some great friends...I have found some help...no job yet...but great help when it comes to groceries. YAY! That was one of my main concerns...feeding my kids. Anywho...moving on onto some reminders and some news!
