Hanna Challenges

Hey! I'm back at it! I just got done with the Hanna Stamps release party and OMG their new sets Pirate and Luau are AWESOME! I sold a few things and so I broke down and bought those 2 only. Anywho...this first card was made using Bridal Hanna and the challenge was to make a card that didn't have to do with a bridal shower, wedding, etc...so I went down South...like to my Mexican heritage and made this card which is also a card I made for a friend of the family that is turning 15! It's a Quinceanera card. What's a quinceanera? Well...it's the equivalent of a Sweet 16. I tried to make this Hanna as Hispanic as possible...lol. The sentiment reads "Feliz 15" which means "Happy 15". The card measure 4X4! Whatcha think?

Supplies:
CS/DP: PPom, PIPink, & WWhite
Ink: BBlack & Prismacolor Markers
Stamps: Bridal Hanna & Alphas & Numerals by Studio G
Embellishments: Prima flowers & BLING
Others: Giga scalloped punch, Mega circle punch, SU Scalloped punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, Colluzzle, & CB

Now this one was a QUICK one I made DURING the release party. Frances AKA StampOwl from SCS came up with a sketch challenge and so I whipped this one up. It's suppose to be Pirate Riley...but I gave him a little transgendered "surgery" and now we have Pirate Sophie? LOL! Whatcha think?
Supplies:
CS/DP: BBlack, RRed, WWhite, & Rockstar DO
Ink: BBlack & Prismacolor Markers
Stamps: Pirate Riley & Pirate Princess by Rusty Pickle
Embellishments: gold ribbon
Others: SU Writer to make hair and clothing

I'm SOOO SORRY!

I want to first apologize for my lack of posting. For one...I had very bad news presented to me having to do with my financial status...too long and whinney to even talk about it...but just know that I am now $1000 a month poorer and living in California...that's depressing! So...since I got that news...I have been TOO bummed to do ANYTHING! I haven't stamped or made ANYTHING and that alone has driven my mojo into non-existance. Today I got a PM on SCS though from a DF about a card of mine she received in a swap we were in and she gave me such wonderful praise that motivated me enough to work on something today. So I'm posting these things I've worked on in the past just so you know I'm still here. I will get back to checking out your blogs as well...just be patient with me. *smile* Ok...so here are some cards and ABC's I've worked on for swaps and RAK's! I'll add detail soon! *smile* However...I have been helping my DD create a new blog to post about her time at the Jonas Brothers concert...and well...our love for the Jonas Brothers. She made her first ever banner!!! I'm so proud!

This one is for an AMUSE swap!

For a Sweet Things swap!

For a Gina K. swap!

second spot in the Gina K. swap

For a Bella swap!

and this one is a RAK made for a daughter of a good friend of mine who was going thru a hard time with a skin condition...poor lil momma! She's girly girl...so what's better than pink!?

I'm back to creating!

Well...I didn't do anything today or yesterday! Being pre-occupied with the house painting and taking LV to the Jonas Brothers concert...well...it hasn't really left any time to stamp. I did manage to take a few things to the hotel with me to keep myself busy. I made these 2 things!

First is this OH SO CUTE popsicle card. I've seen them on SCS and then I received one from a gal that joined a swap of mine at SCS. I had to make one...it's just too cute to pass up! Looks yummy huh? LOL!
Supplies:
CS/DP: WWasabi & VVanilla
Ink: GGalore
Stamps: Tart & Tangy
Embellishments: Bling & Green Gingham ribbon
Others: Scalloped punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, Prismacolor marker for scallop & dots, & popsicle stick

Then is this card (a set of 6 for a swap) using once again Michelle Zindorf as inspiration. I had a hard time thinking of a layout so I went for an old stand by...some sketches I worked on a while ago. I wanted to make the black strip with rounded corners...but couldn't find my corner rounder until I came home to help DH with some stuff. DUH! I actually made these cards first before the popsicle card but wanted to feature the popsicle because of the Summer first. :P
Supplies:
CS/DP: BBlack, WWasabi, SSky, & WWhite
Ink: BBlack, OOlive, BBayou, SSky & Prismacolor Markers
Stamps: A Touch Of Nature
Embellishments: brad
Others: sponge, clear EP, & water spritzer

STAMPING ON MY KIDS!!! LOL!!!

You know I've lost it whan I "tatted" up my kids! I received my goodies from Bombshell stamps and with that I got a couple tattoo inks. My kids thought it would be fun for me to "decorate" them so I did! Check out my tatted kids! LOL!
This one is Ms. LV's tattoo
This one is my DS's tattoo
And of course...my little DD! LOL!
I've lost it haven't I?

Bella Spring Card

Well...it's not actually Spring themed...but it's the Spring Card tutorial found HERE! Since my office is almost plain now with moving stuff out to get it ready for the painting on Friday...I have limited supplies like 15% of my stamps and scraps of CS and DP. I still have some plastic containers inside with embellies and markers...so I was able to stamp something before I go offline officially tomorrow night! Isn't it a cute fold? Whatcha think?

Supplies:
CS/DP: SU (I forgot the name) DP, Bazzill Bling red, & watercolor paper
Ink: Staz-On Jet Black & MMMarkers
Stamps: Cupcake-A-Bella & MFT Hey Cupcake
Embellishments: BLING
Others: aqua painter

ETA: Joani...you definitely ROCK MY SOCKS!!! Not only with your work...but with your friendship! :)

I've been away...again!!!

Yes...once again life has taken me away...HOW DARE IT!!! Doesn't it know I have to create!!!??? LOL! Anywho...yes...I've been UBER busy and it doesn't seem to be letting down. The only time I've been stamping has been past my bedtime! I'm so drained and to think I'm doing some work because we're having the whole house painted on Friday! DH and I had painted...but we didn't do the whole house...and it is in dire need of a painting. We hadn't painted since...*doses off trying to remember* I honestly can't remember it's been that long! Just not so long ago we did all the moving and what not for the carpet. Us brainiacs should have thought it out carefuly and painted the whole house when we had the carpet changed. Oh well...that's what we get!

I did manage to make a card for a challenge for Hanna Stamps. Patti AKA Stigmom6 at SCS challenged us to make a card using "patriotic" colors because of the 4th of July and to use doodles or swirls. I used my new Football Riley! What's American if you can't think of football? He is so much fun to use! All the Riley's are super fun! While on the subject of Hanna Stamps...I'm so excited because one of my Anthony cards won the Anthony challenge!!! It was Anthony with a humor...LOL! I won 2 new sets...Bridal Hanna and Everyday Sentiments! There was a little boo boo on the sentiments...so Kristi is fixing that. Cool huh?
Supplies:
CS/DP: Bazzill Bling Red, White, & Blue & WWhite
Ink: BBlack & Prismacolor Markers
Stamps: Football Riley (sentiment is computer generated)
Embellishments: White satin ribbon, Lg. Star punch, & Sm. Star punch
Others: D'Vine Swirls CB Folder
OH OH OH...on the subject of winning...I also won a $20 certificate from Bombshell Stamps as a runner up for their first ever newsletter drawing! Shannon is so cool! I LOVE her tattoos and not to mention...her fun personality!!! Check out the video of the drawing! I'm hoping this is my month as May & June have really sucked!
BombshellStamps.com

Hopefully after the whole painting ordeal is over with I can post to my blog often. I have TONS to create...not only for swaps...but to ink up new stamps coming in the mail...LOL! OH OH OH...I also have some fun news...I'm taking LV to her first ever concert!!! I'm taking her to go see the Jonas Brothers!!! They are so cute!!! Joe Jonas is her favorite! He's the one in the middle! Here is their latest video! Enjoy!
