Elvira's 14th birthday TODAY and she was in the hospital!

My poor baby girl turned 14 today and we were in the hospital with her almost all day because she developed tonsillitis and a nasty infection which thankfully didn't turn into Strep. She was given antibiotics and now she's resting on the couch. I just finished this card for her since I was feeling all gross yesterday from my tonsils and didn't have it in me to create anything. I did manage to make one card...but later on felt worst and just napped.

Anywho...this is a card I made for my LV who turned 14 today...March 1st. She loves the poison cupcakes I've crocheted for her. I've made all kinds of "creepy cupcakes" for her...but she was missing a "bio-hazard" cupcake...so I made her one and made the card to match! :) Yeah...she's creepy like that! *giggle* I also made her a "poison potion" which I'll be adding a necklace to. I know...I'm a weird momma huh? But that's her style and she's a good girl...so how can I not allow her to be HER!

I'm also entering this card for a few challenges. One is Farm Fresh Friday-to make a dessert inspired card and the others are for Copic Creations & The Pink Elephant-to use a wee bit o' green.

DIGI! Yes...I'm playing along with today's JUG's challenge in which is hosted by Miss Tracy "Cuchi-Cuchi-Coo" Cuccia! Every time I say her last name Charo comes to mind...lol! Sorry Tracy...you know I'm a little nuts right?

Anywho...this is the sketch provided to play along and I decided to make a digi scrap page for my LV who turns 14 in less than a month. I used her favorite colors and my favorite recent picture of her right now. She did her own makeup for this picture...I only helped a little.

Well that's it for now...the kids are calling me to play Crash Bandicoot and they think I kick butt...lol! Have a great weekend!

LV is a Junior DT for...

...Tuesday Morning Sketches!!! How exciting is that? She is Melissa's very first junior DT...well...besides her adorable DD Hollyanne! She is joining Hollyanne in something new Melissa has decided to try out. She'll just be doing this challenge DT'ing once a month...but she's exited!

Her first challenge was to make a card with a recipe instead of a sketch and the recipe was "Glitter, Tag, & a Secret Surprise"! She whipped this one up Sunday night when we got home from my MIL's. No stamping, coloring, or paper craft...just playing with LV...

I finished up a little project I was working on for LV! It's a mini top hat for her costume!!! I saw a video on YouTube on how to make these and now with my first...I am hooked! These are just so darn cute to work with and all you need is felt, foam cup, glue gun, and embellishments of choice...and a little imagination! LV is gonna be a Goth Lolita for Halloween. She wasn't gonna dress up...but how could a 13 year old girl NOT dress up??? She's crazy! So after some begging...she gave in! She thought it was gonna be girly and kidish and I'm so glad she finally saw that it's more glam than what she expected.

Anywho...I am gonna go to bed because I have to wake up early to do LV's hair and makeup and Lizzie's hair. OMG...we moms who do projects for our kids rock! LOL! Here are a few pics of the mini top hat and LV in her costume.

Hi ya'll...no card to show YET but I'm working on it. I've been having a hard time thinking stamp time...it's horrible this feeling! I have all my supplies around me but still can't shake this block! I told LV though that we're gonna stamp today! I'm 98% done with everything I've been working on and so I'll start having more free time. Then they go back to school and my little one goes too...so soon I'll have ME time...only for ME!!!

Ok...so enough of THAT...I have some exciting news! Remember how I'm almost always talking about how LV has an obsession with the Jonas Brothers? Well...she had the honor of meeting them!!! Yes...she won a meet and greet through the fan club. She was super stoked let me tell you. When she read the email she was screaming and had an "OMG I'm gonna vomit" moment...lol. My mom back in Feb.-Mar. had gave her $$$ to buy what she wanted and she ended up getting tickets for both her and I. So she entered to win the M&G and she never gave up hope that she would meet them. She wouldn't say "Oh I'm never gonna win" or anything like that...she was always positive and BAM...she wins!!! :) She's been a fan since mid '07...like a fan fan...lol...so this is HUGE to her! Anyways...here's her meet and greet picture.

It's funny that my sister in law thought they were those cardboard cutouts they have in Hollywood until she noticed Joe's (remember my DD's FAVE boy...well...not fave but the one she's "attracted" to...she loves them all equally)...around her shoulder. :D Check out where LV's arm is...lol! Anyways...it was a great day of her and me getting out and bonding more. The concert was pretty cool...I felt like I was back in my New Kids on the Block days...lots of screaming girls. This concert was more intense because we had closer seats...where all the crazy girls are. I could NOT hear on the drive back home...those girls have LUNGS!!!

In the meanwhile until I post new stamps I'm gonna sell or a new card which trust me...I'm GONNA get down tonight! I have to...even if it looks crappy...lol! Here are some pictures LV took at our concert.

LV's Digi...

Hi ya'll...just found a break from my day to post. When LV is on the computer and open up IE...she sees my moms picture and well...it makes her sad...so I'll push it down since she's been the one on the computer in my absence.

So I wanted to show you what I made with LV's digi...remember it? The one I made using LV's picture? Anywho...here it is if you don't remember it.

I made this card a couple of days before my mom fell ill and had to go to the hospital. I used some of her favorite colors...one being lime green. It's funny how realistic it looks.

Ok...I'm gonna be handing over the computer to LV in a while...I have some unfinished stuff I need to get to today before I get lazy and just sleep. I've really missed you all...but I know in the very near future you will have your crazy Gabby back. :)

WOOOOOOW...just WOW!

I'm like laughing my @$$ off at this! So I go to my Twitter to follow someone and I see Joe Jonas is a trending topic...who's Joe Jonas...well...he's LV's "future husband" according to her who is a Jonas Brother. You who know me know LV is a HUGE Jonas Brothers fan and she had been waiting for this so called "Ladies Dance" Joe was gonna preform. So since curiosity killed the cat...I clicked to see what the Joe Jonas hooplah was about...well...I'm like WOOOOOW! Check this out! *shakes head in shame?*

I was experimenting...lol...don't laugh!

LV's dream is to one day create digi stamps under her name...so today just for fun I decided to test out something I found online on how to digi. Well the first try was a FAIL! The digi didn't turn out quite how I had envisioned it. This is what it looked like! Oh...I had to play with one of my favorite pics of LV.

So then I decided I would trace the image instead and then this came out a bit better...lol.

Then I took it a step further and colored it in using PSP...lol...not the best coloring...but I'm still learning how to color using PSP. So I was bored...lol...sue me...lol! :P
