Hey! So how was your weekend? Any left overs still being eaten? Mine not too great! I did however FINALLY watch New Moon and I LOVED IT and Paranormal Activity...I am disappointed! I thought it would be better...like some reviews said (I LOVE a good thrill and love getting scared)...but NOPE! Oh well... Now for going out in the cold though...I've become a mouth breather! UGH...nasty congestion! But oh well...I got to have some fun! Anywho...

So...ready for another peeky? I hope so...you don't want to miss these sneak peeks of these cuties due to release on Tuesday, December 1st at The Greeting Farm!

This adorable set is called Outdoorsy and is a set of 7 stamps...2 adorable images and 5 sweet sentiments! I don't know any boy scouts...so I went on a search of what a boy scout uniform would look like and decided to color this cute fox in scout colors. Can you just picture this cutie out in the forest trying to make some fire? Adorable! LOL! Look at how perfect he goes with the Sunny Glen DP...don't you think? Oh and as you may have noticed...I have gone a bit "sew crazy" on my cards! LOL! It just calls to me! What can I do?

Make sure to come back tomorrow as I will be kicking off The Greeting Farm's blog hop! WHAT AN HONOR!!! ALSO...just to entice you a bit...I will be giving away BOTH Marina Neira's sets releasing to ONE lucky commenter!!! So make sure to hop along with us! Hope to see you here tomorrow!

Welcome to my house...my coffee house!

Ok...so I have been admiring the houses made with the template created by Lauren Meader and let me tell ya...they are very intimidating looking! I finally decided I was gonna try it whether it killed me or not...and I'm alive! :D I said the heck with it...I'm gonna buy the template and give it a go! So I downloaded it...printed the parts out...and wa-lla...a few hours later...I have my little creation! I had first envisioned making a gingerbread house...but since I didn't have everything I wanted to use...I decided to go a different route...up to the Northwest...to visit the birthplace of coffee houses! I LOVE my cup o' Java! I'm not ME without my joe!

Inside I added little packages of whole coffee, decaf, creamer, sugar packets, and just for fun...a packet of cocoa! I love this one so much...I'm gonna be making more when I have a few spare hours...lol! You should try one too! You can find the template here! Can you believe it's ONLY $5!!!??? What you make with it though...PRICELESS! How cute would this be for someone with a new home? With maybe a Home Depot GC inside!? ;)

I also made it for the JUGs challenge...to make a gift box or bag of sorts for a gift for the upcoming Holidays! I know mine isn't Christmassy...but it is a gift box? I hope this qualifies girls! If not...I'll make something else! ;) I figured it's a great gift for a friend (per say) during this cold season? LOL! Thanks y'all!

Go "Elf" Yourself!

*GASP* What did she say? LOL...I said to go elf yourself...as in JibJab Dancing Elves silly goose! LOL! Here's a little elfin' greeting from the Arriaza clan!

Send your own ElfYourself eCards

Ok...I am super giddy today because...I GOT ELF ANYA...I GOT ELF ANYA!!! I ordered her this morning in rubber and then because this limited edition ONLY available today (Black Friday) Elf Anya got sold out in less than an hour...Marie was selling her ONLY for today as well as a digi to those who missed out on the rubber! SOOOO...being I wanted instant gratification...HAD to buy her also in digi form! Hey...a girls gotta play with her elf! I love elves just as much as I love fairies or anything with pointy ears! Anywho...if you missed out on this cutie...AGAIN...I am so sorry...I don't mean to boast. I missed her last year and kicked myself for it.

Anywho...I printed her out as soon as I downloaded her and couldn't wait to color her in! She's just so darling! Which reminds me...now that I have Elf Anya...I must get her Wild cousin Viv come Dec. 1st! Thanks for stopping by and reading my incoherent post. I'm super high on cold medicine! :D

Shoooots! In all my blah blah I forgot to mention this was ALSO for C4C challenge blog which is to get punchy! LOL! Sorry 'bout that! I used 5 in total: Eyelet border punch, Giga scalloped punch, Mega circle punch, & oval punch. Thanks Frances for such a fun challenge!

ALSO goes well with Anyone For Anya's sketch #4! Now how about that? :)

No Copics were harmed in the making of this card:

Happy Thanksgiving friends!

Happy Thanksgiving my American friends! Hope today is a blessed day and you are surrounded by your loved ones and make sure to not forget the small stuff we seem to forget to be thankful for.

I am thankful for my children, my husband, my family in general, the roof over our heads, the foodie in our bellies and last but not least...everyday being graced with the Lords ways of blessing us.

I am also thankful for all my online friends. You are my second family as I seem to let everyone in on my life. Good or bad...you're there and I thank you.

Today as I give thanks I will have you all in my big ol' heart! They better have enough food at the in-laws for all of y'all! LOL!

HUGE hugs from the Arriaza clan!

Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop!

This hop is a major brick house! Why? Because the girls are using the brick wall technique as the theme! I was a bit hesitant to join as it looked a bit intimidating with having to cut all those little pieces...but OMG...jut as it was time consuming...the outcome is AMAZING! Reminds me a bit of graffiti art I use to see when I lived in South Central growing up. If it wasn't that time consuming I would do that more often. Still...this technique is PERFECT to use with Bombshell Stamps! I already know who I'm gonna be saving this card for. My BIL has the same tattoo on his shoulder...well...similar! I know he'll appreciate this card! I don't know why...but after seeing this card...I crave a PB&J sammy! LOL! Grape jelly please...:P

So without too much a-do...here is my card! I used Panther Tattoo for my card. When I got this set...I had NO IDEA what to make with it...so when the hop captain came up with this idea...I KNEW I had to use it! I actually envisioned it and to be honest...it came out better than how I had envisioned it!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm sorry I don't have too much blah blah today...but I am one busy girl trying to catch up on some stuff AND working on what I'm gonna be making for Thanksgiving. We're having kind of like a potluck at the in-laws...so I have to make something yummy! :P

Make sure to visit my other Bombshell hotties! Leave them some love too K? ;)

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge!

OMG can you believe it's my last installment for TMS? It was a very nice run and I am thankful to Mel for giving me that chance...to play alongside her awesome DT! Thanks girls...{hugs}

Ok...this weeks sponsor is none other than one of my all time faves...The Greeting Farm! This week Mellisa has an awesome sketch and very fun to play with! I tell you...her sketches sure do take us out of our box! If you really do like to be challenged...you have to check out and FOLLOW Tuesday Morning Sketches!

Here is my card! I used one of the CUTE Miss Anya's and I made her look like my little niece London. It was all Lizzie's idea to make her look like her. I'm actually surprised she didn't ask me to make her look like her...lol. It was fun coloring Miss Anya another ethnicity. I'll be trying that more often now to make them look like 'my' people...which means more brown...lol. Anywho...enjoy! Hope to see you play!

Happy Monday

Hey all...and Happy Monday! Just a few days away from Thanksgiving huh? God I am so not looking forward to that! BUT I am thankful for lots of things...so I'm putting on my big girl panties and dealing with it. I know my mom wouldn't want to see me crying so I wont upset her!

Today I wanna show you a card I had been meaning to post for a while not. It's such an awesome set by both Kristin Bueter and Tammy Hershberger (sentiments). I won this oh so cool and exclusive digi set for participating in a special challenge at JUGs. It's sooo cool! It has this cute lamp post and some very sweet sentiments!

It didn't quite come out like I had envisioned it...but it's pretty close. I tried to make it look like a view to a Christmas tree from the street. I'll do better next time Kristin! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by...I know...*GASP* Gabby doesn't have much blah blah today...well I'm just not feeling too well. I think I'm about to catch a cold...youch! Make sure to join me tomorrow though for my LAST installment with Tuesday Morning Sketches! It was a fun run...thanks Mel!

Winter Fairy

First off I want to thank all who left me a comment yesterday on my amazing news! Everyone on the DT made me feel so welcome and the rest made me feel super warm at heart. I can NOT wait to start my term and can NOT wait for you guys to join me even then.

Now on to today's card. You guys have no idea how much I love fairies...I hardly ever use them in my creations right? Well...those who do know me for a while know I LOVE fairies. They remind me of someone very special to me who I wont go into it because I don't feel like crying. BUT I will say she is the reason for my love with them. Well...when I saw Marie's fairies...I KNEW I had to have them! Being that Autumn and Winter are my favorite seasons...Winter taking top spot...I had to make a card using Winter Fairy. It's also for the Farm Fresh Friday challenge...to use NO DP!!! I also made my very first crocheted snowflake. Not too cute...but I tried...lol! Ok...I am off to nap. I've been up way too long without sleep and really need it! I'll take advantage that the kids get up late. If you want these fairies...you can get your own at the Greeting Farm shop!

*scream* New Moon *scream*

Hello and HAPPY NEW MOON FRIDAY!!! Are you excited as I am? If not...it's ok...I'm not mad! :P Although I'm not gonna be able to watch it until Sunday...I am SUPER stoked! This was my favorite book of the series...so I'm super excited to "see" the Volturi and Jacob's transformation...Edward's body doesn't hurt either! Hahaha...check out his abs!!! Shhhhh...don't let Jasper know I said that! Sooooo...I hope the movie doesn't disappoint. I highly doubt it will as Twilight didn't...still I prefer the book.

I am kinda sad because I had planned a week of New Moon...but instead I made this for you "Team Edward" gals! Feast your eyes on his sparkleness!

I also made the cast in "puppet" form for LV to use for school. She's just gonna have fun with them...it's not something actual from school. I had them printed out and colored them in...another reason I cried...I ran out of my skin toned Copic (E00)...anywho...these were the ones I was gonna use for New Moon week. I can already imagine her friends...LOL! They're all planning to go to watch New Moon together on their week off.

BTW...I failed to mention that I tried to make their skin "marble-esque" but failed BIG TIME! So I just did the rest with much lighter skin using E50. Bella came out a bit too sunburned and I'm actually embarrassed about how I ended up coloring her. Still...I enjoy their presence on my desk right now...until LV takes them away...lol.

Alright...I am off! This is yet another short post. I JUST printed out the Seasons Fairies from TGF and I feel the need to color! LOL!

11.18.2009

It's as easel as 1-2-3!

I decided to make an easel card for fun since my brain is fried from the caffeine rush I've been on (and still am on instead of smoking due to my headaches)! Just looking at them I was intimidated...until I found the tutorial and tried it! OMG they're so easy and so much fun to make! It's a perfect way to display your card! I was looking around and found that coincidentally Miss Jessica the Whimsical Butterfly was having an easel challenge...actually...Randi posted the challenge...but it's still from the Whimsical Wednesdays challenge blog! :D Ok...I'm just confusing myself or I'm on too much caffeine! Everything is just rushing by and going slow at the same time...lol. I think I'll lay down after this post! Yeah...I think I might! :S

I used Marina Neira's Snowball Fight! These characters are too cute and funny and they're pretty fun to color in! Check them out at The Greeting Farm! There are digi and rubber form!

Ok now...off to lay down and let the caffeine fade from my system...we have Lizzie's parent conference tomorrow morning...so I need to be function-able...lol.

Thanks for stopping by and putting up with this buffoon! :S *hides face in shame*

Wild Week #2

Hey peeps! I know this is a early Wednesday post on Tuesday...but I just wanted to make sure it gets posted before I forget! ***Here is my entry for Where The Wild Things Are Wild Week #2 for the search for the next designer to work with Marina's cute little creatures. I made this card last night after getting over a headache...then just today realizing I accidentally flipped the sketch! DOH! I did do something I haven't done in a while...hand stitching!!! Can you believe I did this...coming off a headache! :O LOL! Hubby says I'm a little insane...yes please! Anywho...the wild story to this card is not only that...but just look at Timmy in that stocking! It looks like if he's trying to swing off the card! LOL! Timmy was colored using Copics. The card measures a square 5 X 5. Eyelet square was made using this technique I found on YouTube.

Ok...since I couldn't join in on the Bombshell Hop this week...please make sure to check out my girls and drop them some love! They'll have you like the Pussycat Dolls trying to "Loosen Up Your Buttons"...lol. *wink* Hopefully I can join in next week...there will definitely be some brick houses letting it all hang out!

WHICH BRINGS ME TOOOOO...Bombshell Stamps has a forum to meet and greet with other Bombshell fans! Just go here and sign up for the Bombshell Forum...make sure to introduce yourself too! The more Bombshell Hotties the better!!! Hope to see you there!

Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge!

Woo Hoo! I am loving being TMS guest designer! Not only is Melissa a great gal...but her TMS challenges are awesome! Plus her current DT makes the cutest samples ever! I'm loving the company I'm running with! :D I can't thank Mel enough for the opp!

Ok...so here is Mel's challenge with a "TWIST"! This week is NOT a sketch...but a recipe! Make a card using this weeks sponsor's image...which just happens to be the fabulous Mo's Digital Pencil! Have you seen her images??? OMG... I just adore her little kids/children images. Anywho...back to the recipe. The recipe is to use 3 decorative paper, 2 embellishments, & 1 flourish! How fun is that? Here is MY take on the challenge! I used Kai in the Snow! There's something about Kai that I just simply love! Maybe it's those chubby cheeks? I think so! I've used Kai before but back then I used Kai playing in the Leaves and mentioned Kai is a girl. Still...I made this Kai a bit more for a boy because Kai reminds me SO MUCH of my Ozzy when he was little. SAME chubby cheeks Kai has!!! Kai was colored with Copics. My 3 DP's are there even though they may not show much...lol...but they are from a Winter pack from Oriental Trading Co., my 2 embellishments are the metal work and the punches snowflakes, and well the flourish...that's hard to hide! LOL! Make sure to enter what you've cooked up at the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and HAVE FUN creating! Can't wait to see what you've made! See you again next week in my last installment with Tuesday Morning Sketches! :( The sponsor is a FABB-O one!!!
