I'm SOOO SORRY!

I want to first apologize for my lack of posting. For one...I had very bad news presented to me having to do with my financial status...too long and whinney to even talk about it...but just know that I am now $1000 a month poorer and living in California...that's depressing! So...since I got that news...I have been TOO bummed to do ANYTHING! I haven't stamped or made ANYTHING and that alone has driven my mojo into non-existance. Today I got a PM on SCS though from a DF about a card of mine she received in a swap we were in and she gave me such wonderful praise that motivated me enough to work on something today. So I'm posting these things I've worked on in the past just so you know I'm still here. I will get back to checking out your blogs as well...just be patient with me. *smile* Ok...so here are some cards and ABC's I've worked on for swaps and RAK's! I'll add detail soon! *smile* However...I have been helping my DD create a new blog to post about her time at the Jonas Brothers concert...and well...our love for the Jonas Brothers. She made her first ever banner!!! I'm so proud!

This one is for an AMUSE swap!

For a Sweet Things swap!

For a Gina K. swap!

second spot in the Gina K. swap

For a Bella swap!

and this one is a RAK made for a daughter of a good friend of mine who was going thru a hard time with a skin condition...poor lil momma! She's girly girl...so what's better than pink!?

Bella Rocks Out

Hi! Here is a card I made a few days ago for a swap I'm in on SCS. It's another Scor-Pal project I had to try out...a gate fold card with band. I LOVE this Bella because it's so me...and like my DD as well. We're contemplating getting her an electric guitar for Christmas because she really likes to play...so in a way this represents my girl. She also wants pink highlights in her hair...but that's a NO GO! I'll get her some extensions...but no hair dye! LOL! Once again I'm not to chatty...but I just thought I'd post since I haven't in a few days. Hope you like and thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
CS: PPom, BBlack, & Watercolor paper
Ink: Black-Stazon & Prismacolor Markers
Stamps: RockaABella & Twisted Sentiments
Embelishments: Hot pink ribbon & bling
Others: Scor-Pal, lg. star punch, sm. star punch, & 1 3/8 circle punch

Sorry for the gap...

...I've just been super busy with this and that, that I am now finally having SOME breathing time before it gets crazy again soon since we're getting new carpet put in early May. I hate thinking of everything I have to put away from just my craft room ALONE!!! I'm gonna go crazy...but I'll have new carpet to drop CS or ribbon or punches...etc...on! LMBO!

Anywho...continuing with the Bella kits...this is my next favorite. I love how a button was included as the embellishments because as some may know...I have a button fetish!!! I LOVE BUTTONS!!! I have SOOO many that I hog them enough to not use them on my cards...lol. Isn't that just sick? Anywho...this Bella was colored in using my Prismacolor markers that I just LOVE...but HATE how they color on SU's WWhite CS! As you can see...there are visible "streaks" on her dress...UGH....but oh well...I still love it! LOL!

Loving Bellas!

Just wanted to share my first ever Bella ALONG with a "studio" tutorial I tried out that was posted by Maria. In the midst of it getting cooler here, I'm once again trying to think of warmth...after when it was warm, I was thinking of cooler...I have battles within myself. LOL! I just ADORE these Bellas...because I wish I looked like them! Not the awfully skinny arms though...lol. I used a sketch from SCS as the basis for making this card. I love the triangle piecing to make the rectangle background. I ran the full fronts first before cutting them, thru my Cuttlebug. Isn't she just a cutie? I have more Bellas I've worked with. They are below! Take a look!

Here are my other Bellas!

This TeachaBella was made for one of my DD's teachers. The ribbon loops on the side of the image held a pencil. According to my DD, she loved her card and still has it in her classroom when my DD went to visit her one day during nutrition.
This Tri-Fold Bella was made just for fun. I believe I ended up making one for a birthday of a friend and another for my SIL's birthday. She was real fun to work with since I'm a "Cosmo Girl". *wink*
And of course, this Causea/AwarenessBella was made for a 19 year old young girl suffering from bone cancer. Read more about it HERE!

I'll be making some more Bellas and will also start featuring more cards made with images from OTHER than Stampin' Up.
