Farm Fresh Friday on Sunday!

Hey all and Happy Sunday! I haven't played in ANY The Greeting Farm or Club Anya challenge in a while so I decided to actually play this Farm Fresh Friday challenge! The challenge is brought on by none other than the awesome Marie...owner of The Greeting Farm. As you all may know by now...I am a HUGE fan of the farm! I've loved these TGF images since I first laid eyes on them.

This challenge is a color challenge and I LOVE the colors thrown! The colors are Chocolate, Kraft, & Coral. Luckily I had the colors too! YAY! I've also haven't used Twinkle Tot Madeline in a while...so I thought I'd ink her up and use her! These TT's are too darn cute! I love coloring these TGF images! So here is my card to enter into the challenge!

K...it's Oscar and my 12 year weeding anniversary so I will be gone all day. We're headed to the cemetery if it doesn't rain and then we're off to my MIL's for diner. Wow...12 years! That's like 25 in Hollywood years! LOL! I do live about 20 miles or so from Hollywood...so this means a lot to me! My poor guy has put up with me for THAT long! He's my super hero!

WOO HOO...It's October!!!!!!

Alright...it's the first day of October!!!! I am SOOO happy! I'm sure you know why! You don't? Well...I am a Halloween girl! I love all things spooky and Halloweenie!!! This is MY Christmas/Valentine's Day/Birthday!!! Yes...{heart} it that much! :D

This card I made here is for Melissa's Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge! Oh...and how fun is it that it's the #13 challenge??? LOL! Faith...well for me? I think so! :P I haven't made a "longer" card in a while so this sketch was perfect for that!

So to kick off the first day of October...here is a Halloweenie card! I omitted the sentiment and just decided to use the swirls...but all in all...you can tell it's the sketch...lol. Ohhhhh and I broke out this abandoned TAC Halloween set I bought from Joani last year I believe and hadn't inked! I don't even remember the name...lol. Yeah I'm awful I know!

Ok...I think I'll cut this one short! I'm on a serious candy rush! :S I don't know if you can tell the candy on the picture...well...I ate a whole bunch of those PLUS some M&M's! You can blame Joni for that! She'll know what I mean soon! ;) LMBO! Ok...now I'm gone! Have a great day!

Don't get so use to it LMBO! Naw...I guess I've just had a couple good days to stamp AND do my chores! :D It's a good feeling...helps me get over some ugly difficulties I'm still going through regarding my dad. I wont get into it...but it's ugly!
Anywho...moving on! I made this card here thanks to 2 things...the SCS newsletter with the wiper card tutorial AND The Digi Shack's Thursday challenge. The challenge was to take a bag in Kharlie Bug's Etsy shop (she's also the owner to the Digi Shack...hence her challenge) and get inspired. As soon as I saw one of 2 bags I drew inspiration from...I knew I wanted to use a stamp set I knew I had to get for another reason other than because LV liked it. That bag is so me! I know most of you who know me knows why! ;)

Ok...so I'll make this one short...lots to do today! I'll see you soon! Oh...and if you likey a bag in the Etsy shop...you should play along...you have until the 26th midnight! The prize is a great one...if you're the kind of "purse-on" that likes to stamp and craft etc...then you'll really "tote-ally" fall for this challenge! ;) Ok I know...speading the cheese! :P

Hanna Stamps ROCK!!!

If I haven't said it a million times before...here's a million and 1! LOL! I just LOVE Hanna Stamps! With Hanna and the guys (Anthony & Mikey) and Riley's and Sophie's...who's NOT to love Hanna Stamps!? Anywho...before I say it again...lol...here is a card I made today for Hanna Stamps challenges! I took on 3 challenges at once and I am only 'OK' happy with it. Not 100% yet...but close. There had been some time now I had been thinking of putting Anthony & Sweet Celebrations Hanna together but didn't have the layout and colors quite there yet. I like the colors I used here...but not too sure about the layout. What do you think? Don't you just love Hanna's dress? It's pieced! And just so you know...OMG it was hard for me to use my Pretties Kit...so Hanna Stamps must be something special to me to actually use 1 pin from the Pretties Kit. *GASP*

...a swap I'm in hosted by Txmommystamps over on SCS! The swap challenge was to make a card with no greeting or sentiment on it. I loved this idea as I sometimes receive cards from swaps and wish they had a different sentiment or greeting to give to someone. So I thought this idea was great and joined. Lately I've been trying to do something different than from what I'm use to...so I've been trying out masking and/or layering stamps that aren't necessarily from a set. So I came up with this card! I love how it all came together! I used Basic Birds from TAC and Out On A Limb by Paper Trey...don't these look fabby together? I have recently gotten an obsession with purchasing bird and/or owl stamps...and this is one set I'm sure happy I bought! The bird normally is not solid...it's an outlined stamp...but I wanted to give it a "silhouette" look so I colored him in with my black prismacolor marker and added a "highlight" on it's chest, belly, and tail feathers to accentuate it. Whatcha think?

I'm around...

...but not as much as I would really like to. See, I have so much on my plate right now I've even lost my mojo and my muse is on strike. I stamp something, but I can't seem to put it together and it's really hurting me! I hate this feeling and I hope once my dad is home (he's in the hospital since this past Thursday), maybe then I can focus. Plus the kids are driving me crazy and I can't have an hour at least to even come close to creating. So, don't think I'm gone or that I'm sick again...just trying to clear things off my plate that are right now overflowing and I'll be back to the Gaby ya'll know and love (or loath)...LOL!
