So I just had to try the treat holder again, like the one I made before of the
cookie holders because I wasn't too happy with them. This time though I used Ding Dong's that I had left over from a "cake" I made for my birth mother. This time also I used Maria's tutorial on making the actual "holders" on the sides and bottom. I like these much better! I also added little handles on them. Made 6 of these for my DD's closest friends.
Supplies:CS: CCrisp, WWhite, & Figgy Pudding DPInk: CCrisp, AArtichoke, & VersamarkStamps: Mixed Bouquet & Christmas Cards (non SU)Embellishments: Hemp twineOthers: Giga Scalloped & Mega Scalloped punch, paper piercer, tag punch, & pom poms (for sponging)
Here's the cake!

Thanks Gabby. Now I have to go buy a box (to eat! I have not had those in a long time)....
Great job. The kids will love them!
Hugs,

Oh these are sweet! What a great idea.
What a sweet treat! I lobe how you decorated the ding dongs. Looks like a purse and what girl doesn't love a cute purse?!
How great- those have to be the fanciest Ding Dongs that I have ever seen. If you need more cheap-there is a hostess bakery and thrift store near me in Pomona-it's right off the 60 and the 71.
You did a great job on the cake and the holders. So cute! :0)
I totally love those holders Gabby! awesome job as always
You mention in your blog here that you made this for your 'birth mother'... are you adopted? The only reason that I am asking that is that I am adopted, and I know my birth mother too...
I was just curious... very cute cake idea and you have a wonderful blog! I enjoy reading it very much!
