Welcome to my house...my coffee house!

Ok...so I have been admiring the houses made with the template created by Lauren Meader and let me tell ya...they are very intimidating looking! I finally decided I was gonna try it whether it killed me or not...and I'm alive! :D I said the heck with it...I'm gonna buy the template and give it a go! So I downloaded it...printed the parts out...and wa-lla...a few hours later...I have my little creation! I had first envisioned making a gingerbread house...but since I didn't have everything I wanted to use...I decided to go a different route...up to the Northwest...to visit the birthplace of coffee houses! I LOVE my cup o' Java! I'm not ME without my joe!

Inside I added little packages of whole coffee, decaf, creamer, sugar packets, and just for fun...a packet of cocoa! I love this one so much...I'm gonna be making more when I have a few spare hours...lol! You should try one too! You can find the template here! Can you believe it's ONLY $5!!!??? What you make with it though...PRICELESS! How cute would this be for someone with a new home? With maybe a Home Depot GC inside!? ;)

I also made it for the JUGs challenge...to make a gift box or bag of sorts for a gift for the upcoming Holidays! I know mine isn't Christmassy...but it is a gift box? I hope this qualifies girls! If not...I'll make something else! ;) I figured it's a great gift for a friend (per say) during this cold season? LOL! Thanks y'all!

Oh my word, Gabby! This is just fabulous! Love the pots on the side of the house...I think I like this better than the gingerbread house idea! Although I'd love to see one! LOL!!! Great gift idea to go with the coffee house theme! Thanks for playing our JUGs challenge!

Oh my gosh, Gabby! This is completely AMAZING! So glad you scrapped the ginger bread house idea and came up with a coffee house! How clever!! LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about it. From your little brass door knobs to the large planters with "foliage" out front. SUPER DUPER CUTE!!! LOVE it!

Thanks for breaking through your template fears and playing along! You definitely conquered that one! Hope to see you next weekend for a fab sketch challenge hosted by Pam!

Get OUT ! THis is fab! Can I meet you for coffee one day at your cutie coffee house?? This reminds me of the little christmas village houses that we pull out every year to make our little winter scene on the mantle...but way cooler!... THanks for playing along with the JUGs girls again this week.

Hi Gabby, your coffe house is adorable and so very clever. I, too, have become addicted to making these and I am selling them at my work to raise money for our Adopt-a-Family project this year. Thanks for the inspiration to go in a non Christmas direction with the house template.

P.S. I laughed when I read your post about being intimidated by the template because I was too.
