These cards I made for today's sneak peek looks JUST like something you can find in or AT my aunts house! She has a couch just like the one in card 1!!! That's where I drew inspiration from! Only she had that clear plastic cover on it AND IT ALSO HAS HOLES...come on Tia (aunt)!!! She also has an old toilet in her front yard WITH FLOWERS!!! OMG...she's related to my mom! LOL! :P ONLY my mom isn't as redneck as her...lol...notice I said "as"! Like I said...we all got a little redneck in us! For the toilet fixture card I wanted to add I used 2 SCS challenges...sketch #218 and color challenge 210! NO EMBELLISHMENTS! *gasp*

This set is HILARIOUS! I wish I could have made more cards to sneak peek...but then I would give away too much! I wanna keep you interested!!! Whatcha think? Just and FYI...next week I'll be reposting these cards from the hop to add the supplies! ;)

There She Goes Blog Hop: Sneak Peek DAY 2!!!

The card I made for today's sneak peek just screams SPRING BABIES!!! I had a Spring baby almost 5 years ago and she is the sweetest little chiclet! Man where has the time gone??? It's no wonder I feel old! YIKES!

Anyways...lol...I decided to go with the neutral baby look for this card I made to sneak peek this set. You never know who's next of your friends or family to break the preggers news and chose to NOT tell the sex! Hey...it's happened to me and HATED being in a scramble to find a boy or girl card! This one here saves you the running around like a chicken with it's head cut off...lol! Right?

Man...this is when I wish I would have had some yellow flock to use for the baby chick! I chose to paper piece the eggshell instead of coloring it in. I had the baby chick colored a day before with ONLY the shell in white but then thought it looked a bit too BLAH...boring! Can you believe that dotted DP was in my scraps file? That's a big piece!! LOL! A little bling is ok for boys...right?

This set is not ONLY for babies...it's also great for Spring and Easter! It is very versatile and not to mention...stinkin' cute! Whatcha think?

Yes...that's what I've been bursting at the seems to share! Isn't it cool? Jessica is such a sweetie and her stamps are AWESOME! OH MY WORD...I'm shaking like a leaf!

On other news...I have a new baby! No...not a crying and pooping one...lol...a new computer! My old dinosaur of a PC my bro gave me is now resting in peace. Thank God this time I uploaded my recent pics to my online album! That was close! Anywho...here is my baby! You see below the screen? That's the processor! SO FREAKIN' CUTE!!! This and my car and my proud purchases! I feel so growed up! LMAO!

Monday....*thud*

Yes...that's how Monday's make me feel! I am so not a Monday morning person...lol. Well yesterday was a bad day to do what I had to do...clean our backyard...as it was raining and OH SO WINDY! OH MY GOODNESS! So what I did was that for a little while...I stamped and made 3 cards and then I just plopped onto the couch with the kids to watch Twilight for the upth-teen time! I really lost count how much we've seen it...lol...so I just gave up on counting! I'll give it a break for a week now so I wont lose interest.

Anywho...here I wanted to show you this card I made last week when the splint came off for a new bud of LV's on Team Jonas. LV picked the colors and DP...I just did the coloring and laying out. She was too "busy" to do anything herself but pick! UGH! Yeah right you were busy! LOL! Anywho...whatcha think? Cute huh if I say so myself!

Twilight Release Saturday!

And it's also in-sync with me posting about a swap I joined for New Moon! Co-in-ki-dink? Nah...just right timing! LOL! Ok...I first want to apologize for the late post...I was out shopping and forgot to auto-pilot this post last night. So when I joined the swap I decided to do a full card spot and an ABAC spot. For the full card spot I thought back to when Edward returns with Alice and Bella from Italy...so it was perfect to use Hand in Hand with that sentiment! You can't tell from the picture...but Edward has some sparkle on his hand. Then I also went and tried out the techinique recently used on SCS using ribbon to make a frame. WOW! It sure gives it that extra something! Here is the tutorial on how to make this frame.

I could send them in a box...I'll think about that one though!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I hope you're wearing your green or else you'll get the pinch! LOL! I am wearing my green...I have my green on ALL the time...MY EYES!!! :P Ok...so I'm a cheater and back in school I was told they didn't count...boo hoo...but yes...I am sporting my green! My kids are NOTORIOUS for pinching me until they're welts! YIKES!

Anywho...here is a little project I worked on not only for my DT...but also for today! It's a treat box BUT in a larger size! Instead of 2, 4, 6, & 8...it's 2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2, & 10! I even went shopping at Party City for some chocolate coins...lol. Pretty cool huh? Who wouldn't want this at the end of their rainbow? So I used Bombshell Angel & Accessories for this project. I even dug into my scrap pile for the lid DP.

So I know I promised you a video tutorial on how to make these...but WOW...it's so long I'm gonna have to break it down into maybe 4 videos!!! Let me know if you're still interested in it or if I should just go for a written tutorial!

Ok...so I am off to a local pub to get me some green beer! A friend of mine asked me to go with her and how can I pass up green beer! Cheers to you!!!

Let's monkey around Monday!

LOL...don't laugh at my title...I think it's the pain meds still from last night...lol! So...this card I had made for the MFT Idol and I just had regrets and withdrew it because all the entries were toooo awesome to compete. Plus in my funk...this is NOT my best work! So here you have my MFT Idol reject...rejected by moi! I hadn't used this set in a while so I said what the heck! I'm gonna save it for DH when I feel like monkey-ing around with him...lol. The baubles were suppose to be my poor attempt at coconuts...HEY...I SAID POOR! LOL! Oh well...I just thought I'd post it since I had nothing else to post until tomorrow...St. Patrick's Day! I think you'll like it! Or so I hope! It's made for my DT position at Bombshell Stamps. It was gonna be an entry for the contest...but instead I just thought I'd share. Check in tomorrow to check it out!

Since I still have my splint on...I'm not gonna make this one long...but as soon as this splint comes off on Thursday...hopefully...I'll post the supplies!

Super Saturday Challenge!

Sorry for my lateness...and not to mention absence. I've been in a funk and well...my crafting mojo disappears with my funk! UGH! It's coming back some! After a nice visit with my uncle and seeing and hearing what he's been thru with now being a cancer survivor 3 years and running after being told he ONLY had 3 to 6 months to live...well...my "issues" pale in comparison! So after crying with him and then just cracking up because my mom is such the jokester...I'm feeling a lighter shade of blue! *wink*

So today is Saturday...if you didn't know that yet...WAKE UP! LOL! So I ALMOST missed my post for Melissa's turn to host the Saturday Super Challenge! DANG was it a challenge...in a few ways too! First...Mel's challenge was to use a sketch courtesy of sketchlovers.com! I am SOOOO not good AT ALL when making my images at a slant so that's challenge #1! Challenge #2...coming out of my funk! Challenge #3...my coloring hand is in a splint because my CT is acting up again! Challenge #4...LV double dog dared me to use her Copics to make my card! DANG...I can't believe I survived it! LOL! So...alas...here is my sad and pathetic attempt at Mel's sketch challenge!

So...how's this for Miss Independent? Sophie doesn't miss her man away working his butt off...lol...looks like me...except I would be at a desk stamping...lol!!! Sophie is the Real Housewife of the Forest!

Sorry I've been away!

It's been a while now huh? WELL...I have been one busy bee still and have just been doing just a bit of Spring cleaning. First I started with my craft room as it was in dire need of a face lift! AND OH BOY IT GOT ONE! LOL! Sunday the kids, hubby, and I went to All American...a local hardware store kind of like Home Depot. Anywho...we were just walking around just trying to get away from the drama at home when I saw something that really caught my eyes...A NEW STORAGE CABINET!!! I heard angels sign and a glow around the cabinet. It was love at first sight! Since I recently got my tax return I knew I had to get it. Oscar wasn't too happy about it...but it was MY money and hey...I deserved to spend it on me! Last year it was stuff for the house and clothing and shoes for THE KIDS...hey...I worked my butt off throughout the year I deserved MY treats! If you're an owner of a stamp company and you visit my blog and I bought from you...you know what I'm talkin' 'bout right?! *wink* LOL! Anywho...enough of my babbling...here are a before and some after looks into my craft cave! I still have to rearrange things and maybe add more shelves and what not...but it's a process. Next up...the kids rooms so help me God!!!

Now let me tell you about my unlucky Monday & Tuesday...just don't laugh toooo hard ok? Ok...so when we got home on Sunday with my new storage cabinet...I was like a little kid getting home with a new toy to unwrap! I took my unassembled cabinet out of it's box...it took me 2 hours + to complete...ALL BY MYSELF! Oscar just looked on...*rolls eyes*! So from assembling it, and then moving it to the side to make room in my craft cave...on Monday morning I woke up VERY sore! I tried to chill on Monday...came online for a bit...but couldn't take it. So I ended up going to sleep and then comes my unlucky Tuesday! OMG the luck was NOT on my side. First I still wake up sore and decide I'm gonna chill with Lizzie on the couch and bum it watching some flicks! So when my mom was leaving she asked if I could change a $20 for her. So here I am with blankets on me all nice and warm and as I'm walking to my purse...BANG...I tripped on my blanket and fell on my left knee. YOUCH!!! OMG I heard a nasty crack and it was swollen there after. So ok...I got my mom 4 $5 out of my wallet and held my cat while she left so he wouldn't run out the door...and when I get back to the couch...the Princess Miss Lizzie was toooo comfortable to move...so I didn't bother her and just let myself fall on to the couch away from her not realizing that the arm rest was right under my butt...so yes...I fell right on the arm rest that has wood detailing and hit myself right on my tailbone! DOUBLE YOUCH!!! Then in the afternoon I tried to move around and not lay there in pain and so I tried to make some cards...so when I go to get some CS...Bubba was laying there smelling the new wood and as I bent down to open the dreawer where the CS is...he lunged at my hand, grabbed it and GASHED MY HAND!!! OMG what a day that was!!! I'm still sore...but so far I've had BETTER news. 1 I am featured on The Greeting Farm as The Case of the Curious Card II!!! 2. I will be a guest designer for a stamp company I adore!!! I wont let that slip...but you'll find out very soon!!! I'm super excited about that because the owner is such a doll! & 3. My SIL loved the baby shower cards I made for her!!! YAY!!!

Ok...that's enough babble for now! I'll try to make the next post short next time around! LOL! BTW...I'm still working on the video tutorial for the treat boxes I made! UGH...I soooo need an update for my old Movie Maker! Thanks for reading if you got this far and thanks most of all for putting up with it...lol!

Fairy Nice Window Treat Boxes

Yes...I made some window treat boxes! BUT...it's a twist from the one tutorial that's out there! How? You'll see in a video tutorial I'll be adding next. It's in the cutting floor right now AND then I need to convert it. Since I'm making them using my old dinosaur computer my brother gave me...I have the old version of Windows Movie Maker...so I wont have it up on Monday as thought. :( BUT I will be adding it this coming week. Here are the boxes I made today though so you can check 'em out! Those who know me well know I'm SUPER addicted to fairies...so I used all 3 fairies from The Greeting Farm! Their names are Tink, Eva, & Chloe! They are the newest addition to my family of rubbah! LOL!

This is Chloe! She is the bubble gum fairy guarding this treat box of bubble gum! She also goes by her middle name...Rosita!

This here is Tink! She's the chocolate ball guardian! Watch out...this is not your ordinary Tink...this one will claw at you if you try to swipe the chocolates!

And last but not least is sweet Eva! She's the mint fairy! She's so cool to the taste. She's the guardian of all things minty. Here's she guarding her chocolate mint kisses saved for her bittersweet owner...ME! :P We mesh well!

Now I want to give you a moment of *GASP*! I had to try out LV's Copics for this minty cutie! I tell you...I really don't see the big of a difference in these and Prismas! Check that out!

LOL! *GASP* huh? Since LV hasn't used them yet...I thought I'd give them a test drive first to see if they were safe for LV...lol!

TGIF!!!!!

And I so mean it right about now! I am SO done with this past week it is sick! Yesterday we went to do a little shopping and I'm tired...but I managed to work on something...but it's still in the working! What is it...well...a video tutorial of how I color using Prismas! I've been asked many times how I shade and blend and what not...and now I can show you! Yesterday I bought a web cam with built in mic so you'll be able to hear my beautiful voice...LMAO...speaking to you! YAY! Where have I been dangit!? LOL!

Anywho...I made this card on Wednesday night while watching Ghost Hunters. I made it using The Greeting Farm's new set called Forest Friends! This set is too darn cute! I have ALWAYS loved Bambi growing up and so seeing this cute deer that came in the set...I knew I had to have it! I also got the chance to use more scraps...lol. ALSO...I wanted to CASE Maria's LO that she used for a card she had submitted to High Hopes. Of course once I tied the ribbon I could not get it layered like on her card...so I just moved it to the side! LOL! Still...I'm happy with the outcome. Maria has been such an ispiration to me since I met her oh let's say a bit over a year ago? She's also the one who inspired me to start blogging. Whatcha think?

HEY!

Hey ya'll...I have been a busy bee making 30 invites for my SIL who's having a babyshower. Can you believe this is baby #5? LOL! I applaud woman who can do more than 3 kids. I have my 3 and I tell ya...it's a challenge! SO...I am finally done and now I'm ready to celebrate my DS's 10th birthday! 2 digits!!! He's super excited about that. It's making him see himself as a kid no more and more of a young adult...lol. OK! We're gonna chill and get him a cake or cupcakes which he loves...lol...and watch some movies. In a way I hope it's still raining so we can all cuddle in blankets while watching TV...but then I don't want anymore rain because I'm having aweful backpain. Every time it rains my back just hurts like crazy. Anywho...here is what the invites look like. I had so much fun making the baby face...lol. My hands hurt from the punching...but I like the outcome. Now I hope SHE likes them! We'll see! YIKES!
