Today's challenge was to make something "faux" or way of usinf leather, suede...etc. So I decided to work on the faux leather tutorial posted by Beate on SCS in the Resources section. Sorry, I'm not too chatty today, it's just too much drama I'm facing right now with my MSN group. I hate to become the bad guy, but I'm gonna have to start enforcing stricter rules and start booting people off as much as don't want to. If I have to become a *itch...then I guess I'll have to. I've had it with busting my @ss putting the group together so I can have slackers when it comes to swaps. I know life gets in the way...but geez, let your partners know. I've been an angel for many swaps, so if I have to step up as an angel again...I don't mind. Ok...I went sooooo off track. Let me post a quick tutorial on how I made my faux leather card...bare with me please, I am not great at tutorials...but I'll try. Supplies:
CS: Kraft, C2Cocoa, VVanilla, & CChip
Ink: CChip, CCaramel, RuRed, MMustard, Versamark
Stamps: Bronc Buster
Embellishments: Hodgepodge Hardware, brads, & eyelets
Others: Cuttlebug Mesh folder, masking tape, UTEE, & pom poms
How To Make Faux Leather!
Supplies you'll need: masking tape, neutral CS, clear embossing ink, clear EP (UTEE is fine too), & inks of choice.
7.
I then chose to add another color, here, More Mustard...but you can add as many or as few colors as you like
